Front Range Modern Quilt Guild

About Me

I am new to sewing and quilting. I started sewing about a year ago and quilting in the fall. I have made about ten quilts. I have so much to learn but I'm totally in love with the creating process that quilting offers! Ok...I'm addicted..!!

Wow!! You've made 8 quilts and you only started recently?? Golly! I'd say you're more than a beginner! :)

(I will grant that you're an addict, though!)

This is a great guild to be a part of and learn. I think everyone - new and seasoned - has something to learn, and something to offer. And we've got plenty of newbies and plenty of well-seasoned quilters. :)

Do try to make the April meeting as we're having a lady come speak who was a curator of a quilt museum in England.

And, as Marta said, if you've got any questions, let us know! We're happy to help! Also, our Facebook group is a good place to get to know people and ask advice, too. :)

Have a great week!

Welcome Dayna!

How great that you found us! To see what's going on in the guild, take a look at the calendar --our next meeting is Saturday, April 21st from 10-5. We have a guild meeting from 10-12, then break for lunch, then come back together to sew (if you want).

We have a couple Boulder members you might be able to carpool with to the next meeting if you don't fancy making the drive by yourself. I live in Arvada, actually, and find that it's not too shabby. Once you get south of Denver, the ride is super fast the rest of the way.

Check out our FAQ's and if you have any questions give us a holler.

Looking forward to hopefully meeting in person.

Take care,
Marta
