Front Range Modern Quilt Guild

About Me

Hi!  I recently moved back to Colorado after living in Texas for six years.  While in Texas I started sewing on a regular basis, and I started quilting in 2012.  I learn as I go, which I think is the best way to learn anything!  My grandma is an amazing quilter, and I grew up playing with scraps of fabric while she sewed.  I love the smell of old fabric, and have a slight obsession with buying vintage fabic/linens at thrift stores.  I got married in 2012, and we have two fur-babies.

Hi, Erin! Let me join Melissa in welcoming you. I must admit, I too love old fabric. One of the projects I truly want to tackle someday is a whole cloth quilt made of those wild 40's curtains with Birds of Paradise on them, or something like that. We'd love to meet you. Hope you can join us at a meeting.
