About Me

Quilting struck a chord with me many years ago. I think there is something about creating works of beauty, and often times function, out of cloth. I especially enjoy the juxtaposition of different colors and patterns and the way they play off of each other. My favorite part of the process is planning the quilt and design (and of course, collecting the necessary fabric). Truthfully, I have a lot of fun just collecting fabric.

Hi Kari,
Welcome! I'm glad you found us! We are still getting started, so you're in on the ground floor of the guild! We will have our third meeting on Saturday, February 13th, starting at 10 am at Crafty Laine in Monument (info on the Calendar tab). It's a meet-and-sew where we'll meet in the morning, then have lunch, then have a group sew in the afternoon, so if you can stay all day, please bring your sewing machine, and any projects you want to work on. Also, if you've got a modern quilt you want to show at show-and-tell, bring it!
I look forward to meeting you!
