She will also be bringing some fabric, some books, and some patterns for sale.

The door will open at 5:00, and Anna will begin speaking at 6:00.

If you are interested, you need to email Melissa as soon as possible. There is a limited amount of space, and the cost is $30 per person.

Lyn, just bringing what you've got listed sounds fabulous, everyone is pitching in what they can, which is GREAT!!

And the only reason I said we'd cut on the ping pong table is because it's bigger for cutting. Most of the time people are cutting strips and squares for quilting, but this will be different, so I wanted more cutting space. Maybe we can have half of it for cutting (I've got a GIGANTIC mat), and the other half for sewing. We'll just make that call on Friday or Saturday. :)

I can bring any of the things you requested, Melissa, but I don't want to bring them all. Let me know what turns up needed. For now, I will commit to an ironing board and a grounded extension surge protector with multiple receptacles. And my table.

If I could throw it out there - we sure loved sitting around the ping pong table last week. We put the cutting board on my small table, which allows for walking around it. Many of us commented on how it felt like a "bee" sitting together like that. However, if that won't work for this event, never mind. Something we can do again when we sew after our meeting.

Aunt Marti will bring her super-steamy Velocity iron and a large cutting mat. Not an ironing board, tho, mine is a "Big Board" and is too heavy and unwieldy.
