HEADS-UP: This month we're meeting at Fancy Tiger Crafts in Denver (not our usual meet-up at The Hub). Also, the meeting starts at 1:00 p.m.
We will have a regular guild meeting first, starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. We will meet new members, discuss guild business, and have a short presentation on improv and wonky piecing. After that, we will be having a regular works-in-progress or recent finishes show-and-tell.
We will then break for a late lunch and come back at 4:00 to sew together (or start sewing at 3:00 - your choice!). Bring your sewing machine or a handwork project to sit and enjoy some sewing time together. Please bring an extension cord, just in case. Also, there might be limited seating, so please let us know if you're able to bring folding chairs (we have enough tables, so no need to bring those).
Members, don't forget to wear your nametags! Giveaways go to those with nametags.
We are a dues-collecting guild, so if you are not yet a member and would like to join, please bring $25 to the meeting. Your first meeting is free, and future meetings will cost $5 each for non-members. Or just become a member... Also, only dues-paying members will have full access to the website and forum discussions. Members can win prizes, participate in swaps and challenges, get guild discounts at various fabric stores, etc. It pays to join.
As always, please leave a comment below and let us know you'll be there -- even if you can only be there for part of it.
(As of June 13 - 21 attending, 17 to sew)

Anne says...
Hi, I'll be coming back from the Springs that day and was wondering if my daughter and I could drop in on the meeting? I've been wanting to check out the guild but haven't had a chance and this might be the perfect time. How long does the meeting go before the sewing starts? I won't have anything with me so thought I'd just stay for the meeting part and get to meet a few people. Hope this will work.
