Front Range Modern Quilt Guild

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Yup. We're a whole year old! Yay! Thank YOU for being with us for this wonderful ride. Since it's our Birthday Party, we will have refreshments and a few birthday presents, too.

For the February Meet-and-Sew (see location change), we will have the regular guild meeting and show-and-tell, but we will cut it short so we can have a little "Yard Sale" at the end. Check the Forum for more details, but it's a great chance for you to sell some modern, high quality fabric that you know you won't use anymore. You will have to price your own fabric, and bring your own table. And you will HAVE to Rsvp to reserve a spot!

Because of the location change, please bring your own chair or stool or cushion to sit on. We're sorry to have to do this, but we roll with the changes, you know? And if you've got an extra chair to bring, that would be awesome!

Then, after the break, we'll pull out our sewing machines (see location change) and proceed to work on whatever project needs doing! Please also tuck in an extension cord, if you've got it. The Shop Space (see location change) has great space for laying out quilts to baste, or for laying out your pieces to see how it works.  Because of the location change, please bring a table and a chair, if you have one. We'll do what we can to provide, but if you can help, that would be super!

As usual, if you can only come for part of the meeting, please do!

Angie at Crafty Laine is generously offering us a 10% discount for anything we purchase that day, so if you can, take some time to run over to her shop and pick up some beautiful new fabric!

We are a dues-collecting guild, so if you are not yet a member and would like to join, please bring $25 to the meeting. Your first meeting is free, and future meetings will cost $5 each. Or just become a member... Also, only dues-paying members will have full access to the website and forum discussions. Members can win prizes, participate in swaps and challenges, get guild discounts at various fabric stores, etc. It pays to join.
