Click HERE for information about the Quilt-A-Fair. I'm not sure how wonderful it is, but it looks to be an adventure, at least. :)  From what I've read, they have great vintage fabric at ridiculously cheap prices.


Here's what the website says about it:

Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont

9am-5pm Admission $5.00, children under 10 free

Free parking!

Merchants Mall, featuring over 90 merchants selling beautiful fabrics, kits, patterns, tools and much more

Spectacular Food Court


If anyone is interested, we could carpool up and make a day of it.

Beth and I talked about going together. We would leave from Colorado Springs around 11:00 in the morning on Saturday. I can drive but Beth has a brand spanking new Escape, aptly named vessel to carry us. We may want to chip in gasoline $$ and let her show off her new car :-) Anyway, if others wanted to join us I know it would just double the fun. Let's keep communicating.

I was there last year and felt like a kid in a candy store. I bought some great fabrics and trinckets. Mind you, my quilt shop experinece is limited to that one event, but I'll still recommend it.

Note that Quilt-A-Fair is actually Sept 21 &22, Friday and Saturday (NOT SUNDAY).

There will be over 100 booths selling all kinds of fabric, patterns and quilt related goods.

Definately worth the trip.
