Front Range Modern Quilt Guild

(This is an empty shop located behind Liberty Tax and Taco Bell in Monument)

(door opens at 6:00, the meeting starts at 6:30)

This is a regular, evening guild meeting, but the location has changed (note the address above).  We will discuss guild business, then we will exchange our Christmas Scrap Swap gifts and then we will have the show-and-tell time.  This show-and-tell will have the special focus of showing off the projects we completed in October as part of the UFOctober pledge. (there will be prizes for those who complete their pledge...so you better Rsvp and let me know you completed!!).  Feel free, though, to bring other, non-UFO pledge things to show.

And, stepping back a bit, Angie at Crafty Laine will open her shop especially for us for Happy Hour (5:00). She will have a warming beverage for us, and will offer a 10% discount!! So come early to Angie's and buy whatever you need for those Christmas projects!  Then head over to the meeting.

This will also be our "Holiday Party", and light refreshments will be provided.  By the middle of November, we should be in full holiday mode, right?

Please leave a comment below if you're coming!  It's not really hard, and it helps us plan. Plus, it's the polite thing to do...and quilters are always polite.

We are a dues-collecting guild, so if you are not yet a member and would like to join, please bring $25 to the meeting. Your first meeting is free, and future meetings will cost $5 each. Or just become a member... Also, only dues-paying members will have full access to the website and forum discussions. Members can win prizes, participate in swaps and challenges, get guild discounts at various fabric stores, etc. It pays to join.

We also have a Scrap Basket, so if you want to bring any scraps or books or magazines to donate, or want to dig through the basket to find something in particular, feel free.
